Te Hiringa Mahara is a self reflection tool for services to explore the effectiveness and future state of their data ecosystems. Te Hiringa Mahara utilises the Manu Aute as a visual representation of our aspirations for Data. Pushing us to dream bigger when thinking about the roll and power of data for Māori. It is a constant reminder that like the Manu Aute that everyone can see when in flight, that whanau should also have the right to see their data.
Grounded by Maori governance of data and whanau rights of self determination, this self reflection tool allows services to measure the Data needs of their organisation, determine what success looks like for them and what data areas they would like to prioritise.
Whether you are at the start of building your data ecosystem or bringing all the pieces together, THM can support you to continuously improve your data ecosystem so that you can effectively enact your data sovereignty.
