A key responsibility of Te Tihi o Ruahine is the delivery of front facing Services to whānau within our community.

Each member of the alliance (excluding Māori Womens Welfare League and Te Roopu Hokowhitu) stand in their own mana as service providers across the Health, Social, Environmental and Economic settings.

Te Tuahiwi o Te Tihi provide the back-office functions for all services that sit under the banner of Te Ohu Whakaaraara - Te Ohu Whakaaraara, Nga Tihi Whetu, Kainga Whānau Ora and Te Pae Oranga. Key supporting functions include: contracting and procurement, recruitment, workforce advancement, Te Ara Whānau Ora training, and quality improvement.
