Kāinga Whānau Ora supports whānau living in Kainga Ora homes to achieve their dreams and aspirations; ensuring whānau have access to warm, dry homes within a flourishing community and are provided pathways to education, training and employmet opportunities. Whānau work alongside a Kaiwhakaaraara who guide whānau through the Te Ara Whānau Ora process, Advocate, Broker relationships and coach whanau to achieve their aspirations.
Kainga Whānau Ora understands the value of bringing together key agencies because we know that we can achieve better outcomes for whānau when we work together. Our approach to ensuring this happens is using Collective Impact to guide the way we work together, what we do and how we do it. Our aim is to stop creating ‘work arounds’ and create systems that ‘work for whānau’; systems that have enduring policy across all sectors.
Kainga Whānau Ora is located in Palmerston North and Whanganui. If you are living in a Kainga Ora home and would like support to achieve your aspirations- what ever that maybe, get in touch with us.
